# Akamai EdgeDNS

<!-- Code generated by gen-dns-providers; DO NOT EDIT. -->

Configuration for the [Akamai EdgeDNS](https://www.akamai.com/us/en/products/security/edge-dns.jsp) DNS provider.

See the [lego documentation](https://go-acme.github.io/lego/dns/edgedns/) for full details.

```yaml
letsEncrypt:
  dnsProvider: "edgedns"
  dnsCredentials:
    # AKAMAI_POLLING_INTERVAL: Time between DNS propagation check in seconds (Default: 15)
    pollingInterval: ""
    # AKAMAI_PROPAGATION_TIMEOUT: Maximum waiting time for DNS propagation in seconds (Default: 180)
    propagationTimeout: ""
    # AKAMAI_TTL: The TTL of the TXT record used for the DNS challenge in seconds (Default: 120)
    ttl: ""
```

Credentials are passed directly to lego using strong types and are never written to the process environment.
You may also use the raw lego environment-variable names as keys instead of the normalized names.

Akamai EdgeDNS authenticates with EdgeGrid credentials. Provide them through an
`.edgerc` file (`AKAMAI_EDGERC`/`AKAMAI_EDGERC_SECTION`) or the individual
`AKAMAI_HOST`, `AKAMAI_CLIENT_TOKEN`, `AKAMAI_CLIENT_SECRET`, and
`AKAMAI_ACCESS_TOKEN` environment variables, which are read directly by the
EdgeGrid client.
